Koln, 9. March 2015 – the old adage that waiting is supposed to increase desire has apparently been deeply internalized by ford in younger prasentations. Those responsible must be sure of their cause, because after the presentation of the new s-max at the paris motor show 2014 came so far – nothing. Those who want to buy can order now, but that doesn’t mean they’ll get a new car: the first new s-max won’t be delivered until september, about a year after the official trade show premiere. Meanwhile, ford has revealed how much the van will cost.
The first price list at least indicates that ford has taken a very close look at the orders placed so far. The two lavishly equipped equipment lines trend and titanium can be combined with all but two engines. The smallest diesel engine can not be ordered with the expensive, the most powerful diesel not in combination with basic equipment.
Offspring on the leash
Die preiswerte trend-linie bringt ohne zuzahlung unter anderem ein cd-radio mit usb-anschluss, zweizonen-klimaautomatik und das mykey-schlusselsystem mit. The latter allows a key to be programmed so that a selectable speed and volume of the radio can’t be exceeded – much like ford offers in the redesigned focus. This is intended to slow down the youngsters at the wheel. The safety assistance systems, which cannot be switched off, and an extended warning system when seat belts are not fastened should also help to reare the parents who lend them the car. The schadenfreude of some parents presumably keeps until resourceful sprouts exchange the keys.
